14 Day Returns – New Watches, Rolex Certified Pre-Owned, Jewelry & Handbags
New watches, Rolex Certified Pre-Owned, jewelry and pre-owned handbags (except for items purchased on live selling shows on Instagram or TikTok), are eligible for return within 14 days. Days are counted beginning from the date of delivery or pickup. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. Worn, adjusted, sale items, or damaged products cannot be refunded or exchanged. Watches must have all original tags attached and all protective stickers in place.
7 Day Returns – Pre-Owned Watches (Excluding Rolex)
Pre-owned watches (except Rolex) are eligible for return within 7 days. Days are counted beginning from the date of delivery or pickup. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. Worn, adjusted, sale items, or damaged products cannot be refunded or exchanged. Watches must have all original tags attached and all protective stickers in place.
Live Selling Returns – All Categories
Pre-owned handbags, watches, or jewelry purchased during a live show on Instagram or TikTok are not eligible for refunds. Please review the videos closely and ask for additional details. Additional photos or video should be requested to assess the item's unique, detailed characteristics before purchase. Pre-owned handbags and watches are 100% guaranteed authentic. All sales are final unless we fail to describe a significant defect.
Inspection & Eligibility
All returned merchandise is subject to a detailed inspection and verification against photographs and serial numbers documented prior to shipment or in-person delivery. Any evidence of wear, tampering, part-swapping, or non-matching serial numbers will void eligibility for refund or exchange, and such items may be returned to sender at their expense.
For any unworn, undamaged product returned in its original condition as described above, we offer an exchange or a full refund for store credit or based on the original payment method. Please return all items in the same condition as received, with accessories, to the original point of sale.
Refunds & Payment Methods
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment following a thorough inspection by our experts and will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the item. For purchases made through a trade-in or those being exchanged, The 1916 Company will provide store credit. If your purchase was made using cryptocurrency via Bitpay, refunds will be issued in the Fiat currency of The 1916 Company location that processed the transaction (e.g., USD, CHF, HKD, or SGD).
Please note, we cannot accept returns for special orders, or merchandise that has been personalized, sized, altered, engraved, damaged, worn, or otherwise altered. Gift cards are also non-returnable.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: any item not in its original condition, such as damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. If an item does not meet our return requirements, we may, at our discretion, accept the return with a 5–15% restocking fee (for example, if packaging has been opened, accessories are missing, or there are signs of handling). Otherwise, the return may be declined.
Steps for Returns & Exchanges
To request a return authorization, please reach out to your Client Advisor or visit one of our retail locations within 7 or 14 days (based on category) of receiving your item.
If returning by mail, you will receive pre-paid, fully insured shipping labels via email upon return authorization. Please follow the Shipping Information to ensure that your item is protected and fully insured during transit.
Ensure all original contents are included in your return package.
International Returns
International clients may return their purchase; however, return shipping costs, customs fees, and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. All other terms of our return policy apply to international returns. To request return authorization and begin the process, please contact your Client Advisor.
Refund Notifications & Limitations
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. The email will confirm receipt of your item and inform you whether your refund has been approved or declined. If approved, your refund will be processed and credited automatically to your original payment method, unless you have requested store credit.
The 1916 Company reserves the right to deny return privileges to any individual or account exhibiting patterns of fraud, abuse, or suspicious return activity.
